Two men display gun, ransack woman's purse Two unknown men were driving in a beige four-door vehicle that stopped in front of a woman's van in the 300 block of North Cuyler Avenue, April 1. An unknown person removed the padlock of a locker in the men's locker room at the West Cook YMCA, March 26, and took a Blackberry Bold cellphone and cash. Theft Someone removed a UPS package containing a pair of black boots and a black plastic bucket from a porch in the 1000 block of North East Avenue, March 23. The other man told the woman to exit the van while the first man removed her red leather wallet containing cash, identification, papers and credit cards. The men went back into their vehicle and drove southbound on Cuyler Avenue. The offenders approached the side doors of the van and one of them displayed a semi-automatic handgun and began to ransack the woman's purse. On the same day, a T-Mobile cellphone was removed from another locker in same room. Estimated loss is $300.
